Reactor Technical Details

We run your high cell density experiments in a stirred tank reactor made from USP Class VI materials.  The working volume is 250mL.  The agitation system consists of 2x rushton impellers, magnetically coupled to our motor.

Operating Parameters

  • 0 - 4000 RPM mixing

  • 0 - 1000 SCCM air flow

  • 10 - 60 C temperature control

  • Customizable post sterile additions

Mass Transport

  • kLa > 350/hr

  • OUR > 500 mmol/L/hr

Online Data Available

  • Dissolved oxygen - Hamilton Visiferm probe

  • pH - Hamilton EasyFerm probe

  • Temperature - Class A platinum RTD

  • Mass flow of sparged air - Alicat BASIS

  • Mass of chemical and substrate additions

  • Pump flow rate tracking

  • Per-reactor offgas metrics (OUR, CER, etc) - Infrared and Zirconium sensors

  • Reactor imagery - 1MP camera
