Local Material Drop-Off Instructions

To ensure an efficient and timely drop-off, please follow the steps below:

  1. Notify Our Team in Advance

Email shipping@culturebiosciences.com and copy your project lead to confirm your planned drop-off date and time.

  2. Drop-Off Hours

Materials may be dropped off Monday-Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM PT. If you require drop-off outside of these hours, please coordinate directly with your project lead in advance.

  3. Log Materials in Console

All drop-off materials must be added to Console prior to arrival to ensure proper intake and tracking.

  4. Delivery Location

Similar to FedEx or UPS shipments, all chemicals, strains, and materials should be delivered to the designated loading dock at 233 East Grand Ave. For courier services (including 1-hour delivery), packages should be handed directly to personnel at this dock.

Packing Instructions

To ensure material integrity and efficient intake, please follow the guidelines below:

  1. Temperature Protection

When required, package all media, vials, and materials with sufficient temperature control (e.g., ice packs or dry ice, as appropriate) to maintain stability for at least 3 hours.

  2. Include a Shipping Manifest

Include a completed Shipping Manifest inside the box (linked here) to help preserve material traceability and accurate receiving.

For details, please view the Shipping Manifest Usage article.

  3. Label the Outer Box Clearly

Please label each package as follows:

    Culture Biosciences

ATTN: Project Lead Name - Project Codename
