Run: an an individual fermentation or cell culture process using one vessel.
Experiment: a set of bioreactor runs done in parallel at a given time (formerly βbatchβ).
Project: a grouping of Experiments. We recommend dividing your research campaigns into separate Projects.
Account: a single login that can access information within an Organization
Organization: an umbrella entity that contains Accounts, Projects, Experiments and Runs

Bioprocessing Console: the website where Culture's customers can plan new Runs, monitor current Experiments and analyze their data
Chemical: a conceptual entity with chemical formula, hazards and more -- note that this does not connote any information regarding physical inventory, it only conveys that Culture's system is aware of these Chemicals
Media: a composition of Chemicals including a protocol for creating this Media
Inventory: connecting concepts of Chemicals with physical status, Lot, Vendor, preparation information and barcoding
Vessel: our single use plastic container for the culture broth
Bay: Culture's bioreactors, consistent sets of hardware, pumps and control subsystems
